The day before everone leaves, the 100+ group of campers throws a parade! They drive all around the camp ground honking and waving at everyone else. And- they dress up a little. The theme this year was supposed to be Hawaiian but it seemed more like 'good times, good times style' to me. Somehow I had expected a fancy production like the mermaid Parade in Coney Island New York, but this one was a little more laid-back costume-wise. had I known this, I wouldn't have felt so "not ready" and joined the parade! But this way you get to see pictures.
..and then they returned. Notice how everyone is driving the other way this time.
And that was that, picture wise. I didn't take a whole hell of a lot more pictures until I went to the Paw Paw Tunnel in West Virginia.
